The public site now carries SCC Nexus identity and correction routes, a descriptive collision comparison chart, a tabular results summary and a separate verified context log. No causal claim has been added.
The archived government alert records a 19:01 broadcast to England and Wales warning of a very high national wildfire risk. This timestamp is retained as the main operational 2026 case. Suitable outcome data are still pending.
GOV.UK separately archives an 18:57 broadcast to Wales. The Observatory does not collapse the two timestamps because doing so could blur short-window exposure classification.
The Cabinet Office announcement linked the alert to severe wildfire conditions, emergency funding, military assistance and a temporary disposable-barbecue ban. These measures are contextual co-interventions and must be considered before attributing any later change in outcomes to the phone alert itself.
Official Emergency Alerts guidance tells drivers and riders not to read or respond to an alert while moving and to find somewhere safe and legal to stop. The Observatory tests aggregate collision outcomes; it does not infer individual phone use.
